Job summary

MM Management Consultant in India is seeking a Water & Wastewater Treatment Design Engineer to lead end-to-end STP/WWTP projects above 10 MLD capacity, and to develop technical and commercial proposals. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement and sales teams to ensure competitive bids and compliant designs.

The role requires hands-on design experience with Bentley or GEMS, familiarity with MBR, MBBR, SBR, BWRO, SWRO, UF and TSE polishing, and a proactive approach to staying updated on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in design of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• End-to-end design of STP & WWTP.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer STP & WWTP projects above 10 MLD capacity.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on client specs.
• Develop solutions for MBR, MBBR, SBR, BWRO, SWRO, UF, and TSE polishing.
• Perform process design, equipment sizing and technical calculations.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs and BOQs.
• Review tender documents and GCC requirements for compliant proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, procurement and sales teams.
• Use Bentley/GEMS or similar tools for engineering and proposals.
• Evaluate technical requirements and advise cost-effective solutions.
• Support sales with technical clarifications, presentations, and tender submissions.
• Stay updated on water treatment tech and GCC market trends.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical solutions within thewater treatment industry
• Candidates must have worked onwater treatment capacity of more than 10 MLD
• Candidate must have sound knowledge and experience in theend to end design of STP & WWTP
• Candidate must have knowledge of the latest software technologies used in the proposal design such as Bentley, GEMS or any other.
• Strong understanding of market trends and client requirements in the GCC region

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer STP & WWTP projects, including projects above 10 MLD capacity.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on customer requirements and project specifications.
• Develop solutions for MBR, MBBR, SBR, BWRO, SWRO, UF, TSE polishing, water softeners, and other treatment systems.
• Perform process design, equipment selection, sizing, and technical calculations for treatment systems.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, technical datasheets, and BOQs.
• Review tender documents, client specifications, and GCC project requirements to develop technically compliant proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
• Use software such as Bentley, GEMS, or equivalent design/proposal tools for engineering and proposal preparation.
• Evaluate technical requirements, identify project risks, and recommend cost-effective treatment solutions.
• Support the sales team with technical clarifications, presentations, client discussions, and tender submissions.
• Stay updated on water treatment technologies, industry trends, and GCC market requirements.
