Turiya Lifestyle Llp is seeking an experienced Project Site In-Charge to manage day-to-day interior site operations in Mumbai. You will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labour teams, monitor work quality against drawings and specifications, and ensure activities stay on schedule and within safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading architectural and interior drawings, reporting to the project manager, and maintaining comprehensive site records.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Project Site In-Charge to manage day-to-day interior site operations, coordinate with contractors and vendors, monitor work quality, and ensure that all project activities are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Management & Execution

• Manage daily site activities and ensure smooth execution of interior works.
• Supervise civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, false ceiling, painting, flooring, stonework, and other interior-related activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, design details, and specifications.
• Plan daily activities and coordinate different teams to avoid delays and overlapping of work.

2. Contractor & Labour Management

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.
• Ensure manpower availability as per the project schedule.
• Follow up on pending work and ensure contractors complete their work within the committed timelines.
• Conduct regular site meetings and resolve execution‑related issues.

3. Drawing & Technical Coordination

• Read and understand architectural, interior, civil, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC drawings.
• Coordinate with the design team for missing details, discrepancies, and site-related clarifications.
• Ensure all required drawings and approvals are available before starting the work.
• Report design changes and technical issues to the project manager before execution.

4. Quality Control

• Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality and workmanship meet project standards.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignments, finishes, and installation details.
• Identify defective or incomplete work and coordinate for rectification.
• Ensure that work is not covered or closed before the required inspection and approval.

5. Site Progress & Timeline Management

• Prepare and maintain daily work progress reports.
• Track project milestones and contractor‑wise work progress.
• Identify delays and take corrective action in coordination with the project manager.
• Ensure timely completion of activities as per the project schedule.

6. Material Management

• Prepare material requirements in advance and coordinate with the procurement team.
• Follow up on material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
• Check delivered materials against approved samples, specifications, and quantities.
• Maintain records of material received, consumed, damaged, or pending.

7. Site Measurements & Billing

• Verify actual site measurements and executed quantities.
• Check contractor bills against actual work completed and approved BOQ quantities.
• Identify extra work and variations and report them for approval before execution.
• Maintain records of completed work, measurements, and pending items.

8. Client & Internal Team Coordination

• Coordinate with the project manager, architects, interior designers, consultants, and clients as required.
• Provide regular updates on site progress, delays, pending decisions, and technical issues.
• Share site photographs and videos in the designated project groups.
• Ensure all important instructions and approvals are documented.

9. Safety & Site Discipline

• Maintain site cleanliness, discipline, and proper material storage.
• Ensure workers follow applicable site safety procedures.
• Monitor safe working practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Protect completed work and installed materials from damage.

10. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports, site photographs, and contractor follow‑up records.
• Prepare snag lists and monitor rectification until closure.
• Maintain records of approved drawings, material approvals, site instructions, and work completion.
• Prepare a final pending-work list and coordinate project handover.
