Role Summary:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating with contractors, vendors, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project
execution and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Execution
- Supervise and monitor daily site activities.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate civil, interior, electrical, HVAC, and MEP activities.
- Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Contractor and Vendor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, and equipment are available on site.
- Monitor vendor performance and quality of work.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Identify and rectify defects or workmanship issues.
- Ensure snag points are closed within agreed timelines.
Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with all site safety regulations and company policies.
- Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
Material Management
- Track material deliveries and consumption.
- Verify material quantities and quality upon receipt.
- Prevent material wastage and ensure proper storage.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Update the Project Manager on work status, challenges, and risks.
- Highlight delays, design issues, or resource constraints proactively.
Client and Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
- Resolve site-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
Documentation
- Maintain site records, work permits, inspection reports, and checklists.
- Ensure all project documentation is updated and properly filed.
- Support handover documentation and project closeout activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or any degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in construction, interior fit-out, or workspace projects.
- Knowledge of civil, interior, electrical, HVAC, and MEP works.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and service drawings.
- Familiarity with project execution methodologies and site safety practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
