Rajadhiraj Construction Llp is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations in Mumbai. The role requires ensuring work aligns with drawings and specifications, coordinating with the Site Engineer for planning and execution, and managing manpower to meet schedules.

• Keep daily records of progress, manpower and material consumption.
• Maintain site housekeeping and proper storage of materials.
• Ensure quality checks and approvals before proceeding to next activities.
• Assist in snagging, inspections and handover activities.
• Provide regular updates to Project Engineer/PM on progress and issues.

Description du poste

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities and overall site operations.
• Coordinate closely with the Site Engineer / Project Engineer for planning, execution and completion of work as per schedule.
• Supervise civil, structural, RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, finishing and other construction activities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and instructions from the engineering team.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors and labour teams and ensure proper deployment and productivity of manpower.
• Monitor workmanship and quality at every stage and immediately highlight or rectify deviations.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inspections, checklists and approvals before proceeding to subsequent activities.
• Maintain control over construction materials, tools and equipment at site.
• Coordinate with the storekeeper for material receipts, issues, stock records and physical stock verification.
• Monitor material consumption and minimise wastage, pilferage, damage and unnecessary consumption.
• Identify material requirements in advance and coordinate with the concerned team to avoid delays due to shortages.
• Maintain daily records of work progress, manpower, contractors, material consumption and major site activities.
• Monitor contractor work and verify actual quantities / work completed for coordination with billing and engineering teams.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, storage and organisation of materials across the site.
• Coordinate between civil, MEP, finishing and other agencies to avoid clashes and execution delays.
• Ensure adherence to site safety procedures, including PPE, safe working practices and safe working areas.
• Identify site-level problems early and coordinate with engineers and management for timely resolution.
• Ensure construction targets and milestones are achieved within required timelines.
• Assist in snagging, finishing inspections and handover-related activities.
• Maintain discipline among labour and contractors and ensure productive utilisation of manpower.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Engineer / Project Manager regarding progress, delays, material requirements, quality concerns and site issues.
• Strong knowledge of RCC work, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing works and basic MEP coordination.
• Strong site supervision and labour management skills.
• Practical understanding of construction quality standards and workmanship.
• Knowledge of construction materials and their proper usage and storage.
• Store, inventory and stock management knowledge.
• Ability to understand drawings, measurements and basic quantities.
• Strong contractor and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to identify poor workmanship and execution errors.
• Basic knowledge of construction safety requirements.
• Good planning, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site responsibilities.
