Job summary

LR Infra in Chennai seeks a Site Supervisor-Interiors with 3–5 years of experience to lead interior fit-out projects on site. You will supervise civil and interior works, coordinate with sub-contractors, and ensure work aligns with client expectations and budgets.

The role focuses on field work; travel across India is required to stay near project sites. A BE Civil degree and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are preferred.

Qualifications

• BE Civil with 3–5 years site experience in interiors.
• Willing to relocate to project sites across India.
• Experience in interior finishing, civil, electrical, plumbing, tiling and carpentry.
• Own two-wheeler with valid driving license; petrol allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute interiors and civil projects on site.
• Manage day-to-day activities of junior engineers.
• Ensure work meets design specs, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects and sub-contractors.

Job title: Site Supervisor-Interiors

Qualification: B.E-Civil

Experience: Minimum 3 -5 years

Location: Chennai

Reports to: Project Manager

Work experience in Interior project sites is a must.

Job Description

• To Plan, supervise, and execute projects with good communication skills.
• To handle the projects and finish independently as per client's and Management's expectations.
• This job majorly involves field/ site work.

Requirements

• Should be willing to go and stay near or at the Project sites anywhere in India.
• Must have knowledge of all site activities, i.e., Civil, Interior finishing, Electrical, painting, plumbing, tiling, and carpentry tasks.
• Must have your own two-wheeler and a valid driving license is required. (Petrol allowance will be provided).

Role

• Assume responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the junior engineers.

Skills required

• Knowledge in softwares like Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
• Ability to measure and make existing drawings using Auotcad.
• Ability to read all site drawings.
• Ability to prepare bills and estimates using excel and Autocad.
• Ability or prepare BOQ and BOM
• Communication skills- English -both verbal and written.
• Ability to prepare a Project Management Schedule for each project.
• Ability to prepare site progress reports and send via email.
• Ability to learn and improve the necessary knowledge and skills for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage site activities and adhere to the budget.
• Supervision of ongoing civil, interior and MEP works such as project planning, layout and RCC works, concreting, masonry, rcc works, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, electrical, plumbing,etc at all stages.
• Coordinating with other consultants, architects and sub contractors.
• Control and maintain the cost of material consumption, manpower utilisation, and machine utilisation.
• Ensure the quality of work as per design specifications without any delay.
• Maintain a day-to-day record of work progress and attendance at the site and provide reports to the project manager.
• Maintain the record of all inspections as per the inspection checklist.
• Ensure safe work practices at the site by educating, and using appropriate PPE's which are to be maintained in good condition.
• Contribute and support PM in achieving client satisfaction scores.
