Job summary

Maestro Headhunters is recruiting a Project Scheduler/Project Planner for a leading global engineering and technology organization. You will be part of the VDC Operations team and oversee scheduling across design, engineering, fabrication, and construction on international projects.

The role requires Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project proficiency, strong CPM knowledge, and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler / Project Planner in a VDC, BIM, Construction or Engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with reporting and dashboard tools.
• Strong understanding of Resource Loading, Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and Milestone Tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent project schedules.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering, VDC, Fabrication, Construction and Customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain integrated project schedules covering design, coordination, reviews, approvals and deliverables.
• Coordinate resource loading based on project priorities, available capacity and required skill sets.
• Identify project dependencies, constraints and critical activities.
• Align VDC activities with engineering, fabrication, construction and customer timelines.
• Standardize scheduling methods, milestones and progress measurement.
• Provide clear short-term and long-term priorities to project teams.
• Track planned vs. actual progress and identify schedule risks, delays and recovery requirements.
• Prepare weekly look-ahead plans, milestone updates and management dashboards.
• Forecast workload, resource requirements and potential bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with project leads to develop recovery plans and revised priorities.
• Track ownership, target dates and follow-ups on project commitments.
• Provide reliable scheduling data for management reviews, customer updates and business planning.
