Role Description

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules for ongoing commercial and residential construction projects. This full-time, on-site role, based in Mangaluru, involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure timelines are realistic and aligned with project milestones. Daily tasks include preparing and revising detailed schedules, tracking progress against baseline plans, identifying delays or risks, and recommending corrective actions. The role also requires maintaining documentation, generating periodic reports for management, and supporting resource planning and allocation. The Project Scheduler will help improve overall project efficiency by ensuring clear communication of timelines and dependencies to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess minimum 5 years of experience in strong project scheduling and planning skills, including experience with tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software.
• Candidates should possess skills in project coordination and communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to track progress, identify schedule risks, and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and sequencing in commercial and residential projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant diploma with experience may also be considered.
• Prior experience as a project scheduler, planning engineer, or similar role in the real estate or construction sector is a must.
