Role Description

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with site teams, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of construction activities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jamnagar and involves preparing work breakdown structures, resource plans, and production planning reports, as well as tracking project milestones and identifying potential delays or risks. The role includes supporting project control functions by analyzing data, updating planning tools, and preparing regular progress reports for management and clients. The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align construction sequences, resolve planning issues, and optimize resource utilization. The position also requires adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards while contributing to continuous improvement in planning and execution processes.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
• Solid analytical skills and project control capabilities to interpret data, monitor progress, and support decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders on‑site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant planning or project management certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in turnkey or large‑scale developments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Jamnagar, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
