Job summary

Thakral One Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project / PMO Lead to drive delivery of banking technology projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and timely execution across multi‑system environments.

You will manage work plans, dependencies and governance routines, pull information together, and guide stakeholders toward decisions using JIRA, Confluence, Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of project leadership in banking tech, familiarity with Payments and

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in project lead or project management roles in banking tech.
• Experience managing stakeholders, risks, and issues across complex programmes.
• Experience with multi-interface system projects (payments/loans) preferred.

Job description

As a Project / PMO Lead, you will oversee the delivery of banking technology projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and timely execution. You will manage workplans, dependencies, and governance routines while driving decision‑making across complex multi‑system environments.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead project execution across banking technology initiatives.
• Manage stakeholders, mitigate risks and issues, and propose alternative solutions.
• Drive governance routines, including reporting, reviews, and decision‑making forums.
• Pull information together, centralise updates, and guide stakeholders toward decisions.

Domain Expertise

• Provide hands‑on expertise in managing projects with multiple interface systems.
• Apply knowledge of functional areas such as Payments and Loans, or technical skills such as architecture design and Java coding.
• Support test management and business analytics activities.
• Leverage core banking experience (in‑house or vendor packages), with Temenos T24 as an advantage.

Planning & Tools

• Develop and manage work‑breakdown structures (WBS).
• Perform data mining and analysis using Excel.
• Present options and recommendations effectively using PowerPoint.
• Use JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
• Track project progress and ensure delivery against timelines.
• Identify risks and issues early, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Experience

• You have at least 10 years of project lead or project manager experience in banking technology environments.
• You have experience managing stakeholders, risks, and issues across complex projects.
• You have experience working with projects involving multiple interface systems.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong skills in JIRA, Confluence, WBS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You have knowledge of Payments, Loans, or technical skills such as architecture design and Java coding.
• You have experience in test management or business analytics.
• You have PMP or PSM certification (preferred).
• You have core banking experience, with Temenos T24 as an advantage.
