Job summary

Intellect Design Arena Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of PMO to lead portfolio governance, program management and revenue planning across large-scale technology programs in Banking & Financial Services.

You will drive standardized PMO practices, portfolio visibility and agile adoption while partnering with CXOs across Finance, Business and Technology to ensure predictable execution against business objectives.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in PMO, program management, portfolio management, transformation or technology delivery.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing large programs or portfolios.
• Proven PMO governance, revenue planning, forecasting, budgeting, utilization and financial management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Agile, SAFe, PI Planning, Scrum and scaled Agile governance.
• Experience managing complex programs across products, teams, geographies.
• Executive stakeholder management and CXO-level engagement.
• Understanding modern technology environments and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a PMO framework covering portfolio, program, project, financial, resource, risk and dependency management.
• Drive governance across strategic programs with alignment on scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes.
• Provide consolidated portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, risks and executive insights to senior leadership.
• Drive proactive management of risks, issues, dependencies and escalations across programs.
• Own portfolio revenue planning, forecasting, tracking and realization with Finance and Business teams.
• Monitor budgets, utilization, margins, project financials and revenue performance vs plans.
• Translate program plans into accurate financial and revenue forecasts.

We are seeking an experienced Head of PMO to lead portfolio governance, program management, revenue planning, and operational excellence across large-scale technology programs within the Banking and Financial Services domain.

The role will drive standardized PMO practices, portfolio visibility, financial and revenue governance, resource planning, and Agile/SAFe adoption. The candidate will work closely with senior business, technology, product, delivery, and finance stakeholders to ensure predictable execution and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the PMO framework covering portfolio, program, project, financial, resource, risk, and dependency management.
• Drive governance across multiple strategic programs, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and outcomes.
• Provide consolidated portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, risks, and executive insights to senior leadership.
• Drive proactive management of risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across programs.
• Own portfolio-level revenue planning, forecasting, tracking, and realization in partnership with Finance and Business teams.
• Monitor budgets, utilization, margins, project financials, and revenue performance against plans.
• Translate program plans, milestones, and resource requirements into accurate financial and revenue forecasts.

Agile & SAFe

• Drive adoption and maturity of Agile and SAFe practices across large-scale technology programs.
• Oversee PI Planning, Agile Release Train governance, dependency management, release readiness, and delivery metrics.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery teams to improve execution predictability and continuous improvement.

Resource & Program Management

• Drive portfolio-level capacity and resource planning aligned with business priorities and revenue commitments.
• Oversee execution of complex, multi-year programs across products, functions, geographies, and technology teams.
• Identify capacity gaps and work with relevant stakeholders on hiring, allocation, and capability planning.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with CXO and senior leadership across Business, Technology, Product, Delivery, and Finance.
• Lead executive governance forums and provide transparent visibility into portfolio health, financials, revenue, resources, and risks.
• Support senior client governance and transformation reviews where required.

Qualifications & Experience

• 20+ years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Transformation, or Technology Delivery.
• Strong experience within Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Insurance, or FinTech.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale programs, portfolios, or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience in PMO governance, revenue planning, forecasting, budgeting, utilization, and financial management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Agile, SAFe, PI Planning, Scrum, and scaled Agile governance.
• Experience managing complex programs involving multiple products, teams, stakeholders, and geographies.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
• Good understanding of modern technology environments, digital transformation, and technology delivery practices.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
