Job summary

Alstom Transport India Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a full-time Project Planning Engineer to lead detailed project scheduling and coordinate across Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing and Supply Chain. You will ensure alignment of goals and timelines while maintaining robust schedules and proactive problem solving.

You will drive schedule simulations, propose proactive solutions, and manage conflicts in a multicultural and international environment, using Primavera, MSP,

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree, with a preference for additional Project Management certifications (PMP, IPMA-D, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Experience in project management within an industrial setting
  • Agility in handling schedules, simulations, and evolving project objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team spirit
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfort in a multicultural and international environment
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera, MSP, Planisware, etc.

Project Planning Enginner

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside agile, structured, and anticipative teammates. You'll be instrumental in orchestrating project goals and schedules, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, manage internal processes, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of detailed project scheduling, but also proactive solution proposals and conflict management.

We’ll look to you for:
