Project Planner
The Project Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for large-scale hotel, resort, and hospitality construction projects. The role will ensure effective planning, progress tracking, resource optimization, and timely project delivery while supporting project leadership with accurate forecasting and reporting.
Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules for hotel, resort, and hospitality construction projects from design through handover.
Prepare detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource-loaded schedules, critical path analyses, and project progress reports using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project milestones and deliverables.
Track project performance against baseline schedules, identify delays and risks, and recommend recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
Generate periodic progress reports, dashboards, earned value analysis, and executive presentations to support project decision-making.
Review contractor schedules, evaluate extension of time (EOT) claims, and monitor compliance with contractual project timelines.
Support cost and project controls teams through schedule integration, forecasting, and planning-related analyses.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling for hotel, resort, or hospitality, construction projects.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, project controls, critical path methodology (CPM), and project scheduling techniques.
Proven experience in managing complex hospitality development projects from concept/design stage through construction and commissioning.
Excellent analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, risk assessment, and project control best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
