Job summary

Talent Leads Consultants in Mumbai seeks an experienced Project Manager for Solar EPC projects to lead execution from start to finish, ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget, and coordinate with stakeholders onsite.

You will oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, uphold safety and quality standards, manage risks, and report project status to senior management. 15–20 years in Solar EPC required; BE/BTech Electrical, PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Construction management background with PMP preferred.
• 15–20 years of Solar EPC project experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and plan project deliverables, schedule, and costs.
• Lead the execution across site engineering, quality, safety, and EPC teams.

1: The primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of Solar projects from start to Finish & willbe responsible for the quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget.
2: Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3: He will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4: He should have strong organizational skills to ensure that all construction activities align with theestablished timeline.
5: He should have expertise in coordinating resources & resolving any site related issues related w.r.t land& local hindrances.
6: Review the work progress in daily basis & meet contractual condition.

Site assessment to determine the land feasibility to set up solar projects & excellent communication skills toconnect with workers and create stronger relationships between them, which will help avoid delays in theprocess of completing each task on time because everyone's working together as one team.

4) Principal Accountabilities

• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimatecosts.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of properconstruction techniques.
• Interface with the utility and Project Off-Takers on site.

Design, Construct andResource Management

• Understand the turnkey EPC contract for the solar project andoversee compliance by the EPC contractor on the project site.
• Lead the team (Site Engineering, Quality & Safety) to ensure projectsuccess.
• Coordinate with the project Independent Engineer on-site.

Audit and Governance

• Create and maintain all the documentation of the work for statutoryand internal audits.
• Provide Site Know-how to the senior management at HO to takeright decisions for the long-term success of the organization
• Play the pivotal role of champion of organization’s standards acrossall the stakeholders (contractors, external agencies) and protectreputation and brand name.

Knowledge management

• Build and enhance the systems and processes for organization’sfuture success.
• Guide new talent and build competencies for the success oforganization’s success in the business.
• Provide technical expertise to land acquisition team to identify theright land parcel for getting maximum output.

• Should be relocating at project location as per requirements.

• We should be looking for long term association so candidate age should be in between 35 to 48 years.
• Candidate must handled a project site of at least 100 MW in totality.

Education and Qualifications BE/BTech (Electrical) Construction management, PMP
