Job Description

Role: Project Manager – Oracle

Location: ATC Gurgaon Office

Type: New/Replacement New On‑roll position

Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Oracle EBS projects at ATC. The person will lead Project Management, Team Management, Operations, Development, Testing and Support Services functions together to achieve improved business and financial performance.

Essential Functions

• 10 to 14 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years as a project manager
• Proficient in handling functional and technical teams working on Oracle EBS
• Strong database concepts and understanding of software tools and technologies
• Good logical reasoning, technology breadth and programming language knowledge
• Experience with at least two end‑to‑end Oracle implementations
• Work with RDBMS and SQL, integration technologies, and technical architecture
• Understanding of customization and bolt‑on (RICE) developments
• Experience troubleshooting, software development processes, and implementing client requirements
• End‑user interaction for requirements gathering and coordinating functional activities for new development, maintenance, and production support
• Project management using agile methodologies, estimation
• Identify user pain points, design automated tools/solutions, and drive implementation
• Manage delivery, client relationship management and service improvement
• Directly manage multiple technology teams; people management
• Experience working in an onshore‑offshore delivery model

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum team size of 10–12 members
• People management, work allocation and appraisals
• Build and manage an effective offshore centre team including hiring, training, coaching and performance evaluation
• Communicate effectively with teams and clients
• Manage vendor resources if applicable
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
• Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct projects timely
• Manage change and communicate information to relevant teams
• Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently for end‑to‑end project management

Education and Experience

• Degree holder in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.), MBA, MCA, or equivalent
• Experience managing at least 3–4 technical projects
• Lead group of IT professionals
• Experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience in design, development and technical management of IT projects
