Job summary

Apps Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead migrations, upgrades, and assessments across Oracle EBS and cloud platforms. Remote work is approved with periodic on-site engagement as required by the project.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of PM experience, strong communication, stakeholder management, and proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and cloud delivery lifecycles in waterfall, agile or hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, leading migrations and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of Oracle licensing concepts, including Processor, Named User Plus (NUP), Oracle Database, RAC, Data Guard, WebLogic, and Oracle Cloud (OCI).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet (preferred).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of business productivity tools.
• Strong understanding of the cloud software development lifecycle including waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource management, risk tracking, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with clients, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead migrations, upgrade projects, and assessments across Oracle and cloud platforms.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and technical teams to drive delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget with proper resource management.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.

• Good understanding across Oracle EBS, OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
• Remote work approved with on-site/customer facing work required periodically depending on project phase and/or customer requirements
• For remote work, associate must have a dedicated space to conduct/attend meetings and perform job duties
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience (focus in Project Management)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet (preferred)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of business productivity tools (for example: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams)
• Strong understanding of the cloud software development lifecycle including waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource management, risk tracking, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with clients, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Good understanding of Oracle licensing concepts, including Processor, Named User Plus (NUP), Oracle Database, RAC, Data Guard, WebLogic, and Oracle Cloud (OCI).
• Basic technical knowledge of Oracle databases, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), cloud environments, and enterprise IT infrastructure to coordinate technical teams effectively.
• Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) and licensing tools such as Oracle LMS/GLAS, Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, ServiceNow SAAS tool or similar platforms.
• Hands‑on experience using project management tools like MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Excel, and PowerPoint for planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify licensing risks, compliance gaps, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies, along with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and changing priorities.

Required Technologies

The Project Manager must have project management and/or hands‑on experience with at least three (3) of the following technologies:

• Oracle DB, and EBS
• Amazon AWS
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• OLA
