Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to relate MES/Industry 4.0 functionality to complex business processes and manage end-to-end delivery across multiple Indian cities. The role includes developing detailed project plans, governance with senior leadership, and driving customer discussions to ensure successful implementation.

Experience spanning the full MES lifecycle and onsite-offshore delivery is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in project management and delivery.
• Strong domain exposure on MES/Industry 4.0 applications/solutions.
• Experience across full MES software development lifecycle: design, development, implementation, testing, support.
• Ability to drive discussions with customer program teams to develop detailed project plans.
• Proven ability to manage overall project progress, risks, and escalate issues effectively.
• Experience with onsite–offshore delivery models and governance with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Relate product functionality to business processes to meet customer needs.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple sites (Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai/Noida/Hyderabad/Chennai).
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, report status to stakeholders, and manage risks and budgets.
• Coordinate with account teams for requirements and closure of high-level business objectives.

Job Title – Project Manager

Location: Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai/Noida/Hyderabad/Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• 10-15 years of experience
• Good domain exposure on any MES/ Industry 4.0 applications/solution
• Worked on full MES software development lifecycle - design, development, implementation, testing, support
• Participate and drive discussion with customer program team to develop detailed project plan
• Manage the overall project progress & monitor and manage risks
• Status reporting to all the stakeholders
• Good hold over escalation management and effective communication
• Measure project success against budget, original scope, business objectives
• Participate and drive the high-level Business requirements and work with account manager for the closure
• Engages with Senior leadership for program Governance direction and strategy recommendations
• Worked on onsite – offshore model for solution delivery
