Job summary

Kroll in India seeks a Project Manager II, Support Ops who can work in hybrid mode and align with the 4pm-1am IST shift to support global portfolios. The role demands strong PMO adherence, data-driven status tracking, risk management, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-priority projects on time and within budget.

You will define project scope, develop detailed plans, manage changes, and present progress dashboards to senior management while maintaining outstanding

Qualifications

  • Formal project management methodologies knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to enterprise PMO processes and standards for a specific business portfolio.
  • Gather data to inform portfolio status and health.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for high priority projects.
  • Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
  • Conduct project discovery sessions with business, legal, compliance, risk, and development.
  • Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress across gates.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance with appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactively manage risks and remediation plans.
  • Capture detailed requirements and track resource allocation in Agile environments.
  • Develop dashboards and progress reports for senior management.

Job description

Project Manager II, Support Ops

The position is based in India and would need commitment to work in 4pm - 1am IST and in hybrid mode of work.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Adhere to enterprise PMO processes and standards for a specific business portfolio
  • Gather a variety of data points to accurately inform of business portfolio's status and health
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of high priority projects
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Conduct project discovery sessions with various teams like business, legal, compliance, risk, and development
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress at various gates and to share across teams to include stakeholders
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage a strong relationship with the clients and all stakeholders
  • Perform proactive risk management and remediation plans to minimize project risks
  • Work with service line leads to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document, communicate, and track project needs
  • Develop and present project progress, dashboard & success metrics to senior management
  • Track and monitor resource availability and allocation in Agile implementations
Requirements:
  • Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to a variety of audiences both verbally and written
  • University degree and min. 10-12 years of experience with over 5 years as a Project Manager in a global organization
  • Certifications such as CSM, PMI or PRINCE2 are preferred
  • Proven experience in Project Management
  • Experience with process improvement & inventory control
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Experience overseeing Agile projects
  • Strong experience in effective planning
  • Excellent written and client facing communication skills
  • Budget development, cash flow preparation and tracking are a plus
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
Good to have skills/tools:
  • Project management tools like MS Project, Monday.com, and Planner
  • Development Operations tools like Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
  • Strong MS office skills like Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Word
  • Six Sigma Certification
