Responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, monitoring progress, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and driving T&C activities to meet design intent.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Certifications in Project Management will be an advantage.
• 7–10 years of relevant project execution experience desired.

Job description

Adani Energy Solutions Limited is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Execution (Electrical) to support the development and execution of District Cooling System (DCS) projects. The role will be responsible for managing electrical, instrumentation, and control system execution activities across project lifecycles, ensuring quality, safety, timely delivery, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of electrical, instrumentation, and control system works for District Cooling projects.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, shop drawings, tender drawings, and construction plans.
• Monitor project execution activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee contractor performance throughout project execution.
• Ensure project milestones, schedules, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Review and approve construction methodologies and work procedures.
• Manage testing & commissioning (T&C) activities for electrical and control systems.
• Witness performance testing and ensure systems are commissioned as per design intent.
• Identify construction defects, track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Support seamless handover from project execution to operations.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Implement quality assurance processes across all electrical and instrumentation works.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Drive compliance with engineering standards, industry best practices, and project specifications.
• Maintain a strong safety culture at project sites.

Planning & Coordination

• Develop project schedules, implementation plans, milestones, and completion targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support techno-commercial evaluations, bid reviews, and project planning activities.
• Drive technology adoption and digital practices to improve project efficiency.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, techno-commercial, and project management functions.
• Manage relationships with OEMs, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project teams.
• Support team development through mentoring, training identification, and knowledge sharing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Additional certifications in Project Management will be an advantage

Experience

• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in project execution.
• Hands-on experience in Greenfield and Brownfield infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and operational handover activities.
• Experience in electrical systems execution within MEP, HVAC, Utilities, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Industrial, Data Center, Smart City, or District Cooling projects.
