Job Purpose

The Lead - Projects (Mechanical)-ACSL provides strategic leadership for the mechanical aspects of district cooling system (DCS) projects, ensuring the successful delivery of Greenfield and Brownfield initiatives across India. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems within the design-build-own-operate (DBOO) framework, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The position focuses on effective resource management, risk mitigation, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, contributing to the efficient integration of mechanical systems. This role plays a critical part in the successful expansion of ACSL’s DCS portfolio, driving operational excellence, business growth, and long-term project success.

Responsibilities

Lead - Projects (Mechanical)-ACSL

Project Design And Technical Oversight
  • Enhance design integrity by analysing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining mechanical requirements to ensure designs consistently meet client expectations and minimize revisions.
  • Elevate project quality by reviewing and approving engineering plans, material proposals, and method statements, fostering smooth execution and reducing rework.
Project Execution And Monitoring
  • Accelerate project delivery by developing and tracking detailed timelines with clear milestones and resource allocations, ensuring seamless progress and timely completion.
  • Boost operational efficiency by overseeing on-site inspections to verify that mechanical services strictly adhere to approved shop drawings and consultant specifications, thereby streamlining installation and minimizing rework.
Quality Assurance, Compliance, And Risk Management
  • Uphold high quality standards by conducting regular quality assurance checks on mechanical components to ensure project outputs consistently align with technical specifications and reliability goals.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by rigorously monitoring health and safety practices at project sites, fostering a secure work environment that adheres to all regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Proactively mitigate risks by identifying mechanical defects early, coordinating timely remedial actions with contractors, and fostering a culture of prompt issue resolution to maintain project continuity.
Technology, Innovation, And Continuous Improvement
  • Drive innovation by integrating the latest technologies and industry best practices into mechanical designs and execution, fostering a forward-thinking approach that enhances system performance and cost-effectiveness.

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

  • Good hands-on experience on the execution of green field and brownfield projects and exposure on T&C and O&M aspects of the project, preferably in MEP/HVAC/Utilities/Real Estate sector.
