Job summary

Hitech is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead construction projects from mobilization to demobilization in Gujarat. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, safety and quality, and coordinate across departments and subcontractors.

The role requires 18–30 years of experience, BE/MEng/PGDCPM, 60% marks, and a valid driving licence. You will drive site progress, monitor quality, prepare cost reports, and ensure ISO documentation.

Responsibilities

Position description:

To execute the project in the estimated cost and as per the timelines while meeting the safety & quality standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• 1.At the start of the project:- 1) Mobilize site.2) Understand the scope of the project 3) Calculate resource requirement 4)Preparation of budget 5)Provide data to planning department for preparation of schedule 6)Identify critical resource and mobilize them 7)Review & submit quality & safety plan 8) Review the methodologies of all activities2.During the project:- 1)Monitor & review the site progress on daily basis 2)Conduct weekly meeting with client 3)Implement all decisions taken at weekly meeting 4)Negotiate with sub-contractor for item rate 5)Attend monthly Project Review Meeting (PRM) 6) Implement all decisions taken at PRM 7)Review material reconciliation every month 8) Ensure maximum utilization of assets 9)Monitor, review & resolve the quality issues 10 Monitor, review & resolve daily TBT (Tool Box Talk) 11)Conduct motivational safety talks for contract labour 12)Ensure that all SOPs are followed 13)Coordinate with all HO functions to get services as required 14)Identify extra items & get claim approval from client 15) Verification of client billing every month 16) Verification of sub-contractor billing every month 17) Monitoring the cost of the project 18)Review & control wastage 19) Ensure that all documents for ISO audits and compliance are maintained 20)Monitor & close observations & NC (non-compliance) 21)Coordinate with client to ensure that customer satisfaction survey is submitted 22)Ensure that all departments are functioning smoothly 23) Leading & motivating the team 24) Identifying training needs of team members and ensuring that they are addressed 25) Assess performance of team members and provide REACH feedback 26)Ensure that all team members respond to employee satisfaction survey at the time of closure 27)Provide activity based costing data to project head 28)Submit sub-contractor reconciliation statement to project head 29)Submission & certification of final bill from client 30)Obtain virtual completion certificate from client 31)Get bank guarantees and retention amount from client 32)Submit guarantee & warranty to client 33)Get client feedback 34)Ensure demobilization of site
