We actively partner with state governments, national-level education bodies, and large private school networks to scale Canva Education as a safe, inclusive, and impactful teaching and learning platform. Whether it’s a district in rural Tamil Nadu or a private school in Delhi, we’re working to ensure that every educator and student can design and learn with confidence.

Job Description

What you’d be doing in this role

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Project Manager to support the implementation and scaling of Canva Education across Government and private school systems in Andhra Pradesh. The team member will be based at the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) office in Vijayawada, contributing to the Project Management Unit (PMU). This role will act as a local anchor for our state-level initiatives, helping drive teacher adoption, support partnership initiatives, and ensure alignment with educational priorities including the National Education Policy 2020.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of education, technology, and system change — bringing creativity, collaboration, and equity into classrooms at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the execution of Canva Education programs in partnership with the State Government, SCERTs, teacher training institutions, and local NGOs.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for field-level stakeholders including school administrators, DIETs, CRCs/BRCs, and master trainers.
  • Support planning and delivery of training programs for teachers, administrators, and implementation partners.
  • Collaborate with internal Canva teams (Partnerships, Product, Community, Data) to ensure smooth implementation and troubleshooting of product rollouts.
  • Track and report on adoption metrics, success stories, and program impact at the ground level.
  • Coordinate localization of content, resources, and communication to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance.
  • Identify risks and implementation challenges early and flag them with mitigation plans.
  • Support day‑to‑day coordination with state education departments and facilitate reviews, updates, and planning meetings.
Qualifications
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in the K‑12 education field, especially with government schools or large‑scale programs.
  • Experience in coordinating or running edtech programs through NGOs, CSR, EdTech organizations, or government partnerships.
  • A strong grasp of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), particularly in digital education, foundational learning, and teacher capacity building.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Telugu — both spoken and written.
  • Proven ability to work in dynamic, cross‑functional, and remote teams.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive with a knack for solving problems.
  • Adaptable and creative, comfortable with uncertainty, and eager to learn, grow, and innovate.
  • Quickly build trust by showing integrity, credibility, and consistency in every interaction.
  • Show grit and resilience — you're resourceful, proactive, and action‑focused.
  • Stay humble, open to feedback, and always looking for ways to improve.
