Job summary

Blue Ocean Corporation in India seeks an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst (8+ years) to lead end-to-end projects. You will drive requirements, document BRDs/FRDs, and craft user stories for development teams while coordinating with stakeholders.

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, APIs, and JIRA is essential, with a preference for EdTech domain experience. You will guide Agile/Scrum ceremonies, analyze processes, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality constraints.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management or Business Analysis in a tech-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum with hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery and support.
• Conduct requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder analysis to translate business needs into specifications.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and user stories for development teams.
• Perform process reengineering and workflow analysis to identify improvements.
• Manage feature prioritization using RICE, MoSCoW, and Kano.
• Lead projects following Agile/Scrum methodologies with sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clear understanding of APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Conduct data analysis using SQL and Excel to support decision-making and performance tracking.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and process diagrams to communicate ideas.
• Use JIRA for project tracking, backlog management, and reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.

Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
