Job summary

Infosys Equinox is seeking a Project Manager to own end-to-end project delivery from proposal to closure. You will build and lead project teams, assign tasks, monitor progress, manage risks, and report status to clients within the Infosys framework and governance.

• Proposals: lead proposal generation, capture inputs from stakeholders, coordinate approvals.
• Project Scoping & Planning: define scope, develop plan, baseline and schedule.

A day in the life of an Infosys Equinox employee:

Project Manager should take end to end bottom line responsibility for a project right from proposal to project completion, build the project team, schedule assignments, monitor, review and report project status, manage project risks, ensure successful delivery and implementation, take complete ownership of people and their performance management in the project with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to clients within their domain, service and technology area within the guidelines, policies and norms of the company.

Area of Responsibility

• Proposals - Lead the proposal generation, prepare and review estimations, capture input from stakeholders, liaison for required approvals to ensure winning the deal
• Project Scoping & Planning - Manages project scope and baseline to ensure delivery is compliant. Develops project plan, schedule, agreement and proposal to ensure timely completion of projects, within budget
• Estimation - Review the estimates in line with the organization goals and communicate with all the stakeholders to plan for the required budget and resources that enable us to successfully execute the project
• Resource Planning - Prepare Resource Plan including people, space, infrastructure and liaison with required groups to fulfil the project resource requirements.
• Scheduling - Prepare a detailed project schedule, baseline the same, manage any changes to ensure delivery of the project on time
• Quality Planning - Identify the quality goals and processes, comply with internal quality mandate, plan for training the team, develop and execute project plan, quality reviews and provide recommendations.
• Risk Planning - Create a risk management plan, clearly identifying the risks and mitigation plan, solves project issues and risks (technical and non-technical) through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication and mediation.
