Job summary

Zetwerk in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking a senior construction lead for Railway EPC projects. The role focuses on overseeing earthworks, P-Way, bridges, RUBs, and station buildings to ensure railway standards are met and projects progress smoothly.

You will coordinate with Railways, consultants, and contractors, supervise QA/QC, maintain safety, and support billing and documentation to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Railway EPC/Infrastructure projects.
• Experience across earthworks, P-Way, bridges, RUBs, station buildings and track works.
• Proven ability to lead large project teams and manage clients, planning, billing, QA/QC and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise earthwork activities including cutting, filling, embankment formation, compaction and quality testing per railway specs.
• Execute blanketing works meeting RDSO standards for material quality, thickness, gradation and compaction.
• Oversee P-Way works including track linking, ballast spreading, packing, alignment and LWR/CWR execution.
• Direct major and minor bridge works: foundations, PSC/Composite girder erection, OWG and launching.
• Manage RUB works including RCC box construction, box pushing, traffic diversion and waterproofing.
• Supervise station buildings and staff quarters construction including RCC, finishing, plumbing and basic electrification coordination.
• Coordinate with Railway authorities, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare daily progress reports, maintain project documentation and monitor schedules.
• Verify measurements, support billing activities and coordinate with contractors for timely execution and payments.
• Ensure adherence to railway safety standards, QA/QC procedures, environmental rules and project quality requirements.

• Coordinate with Railway authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Railway EPC/Infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Earthworks, P-Way, Bridges, RUBs, Station Buildings, Track Works, and Railway Coordination.
• Proven experience in leading large project teams, client management, planning, billing, QA/QC, safety, and project delivery.
