Job summary

Srvs Solars Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of solar park projects, ensuring scope, budget, quality, and schedule adherence while upholding safety and client requirements.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, sites, and O&M teams; manage EPC contractors and vendors; track progress and costs, ensure quality, and drive project handover to the client.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans for solar park implementation.
  • Oversee site preparation, land development, roads, drainage, fencing, foundations, and internal electrical infrastructure.
  • Monitor installation of PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, transformers, HT/LT systems, DC/AC cabling, SCADA, and related electrical works.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, stores, construction, electrical, civil, safety, quality, and O&M teams for smooth execution.
  • Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and manpower; ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely material availability and inspection.
  • Monitor costs, manpower, material consumption, and contractor bills within the approved budget.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress and take corrective actions for delays or deviations.
  • Ensure construction and installation comply with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
  • Enforce HSE requirements, permits, PPE, toolbox talks, safety inspections, and statutory safety procedures.
  • Review drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, design changes, and site-related engineering issues.
  • Coordinate approvals, inspections, permits, and compliance with authorities and stakeholders.
  • Act as primary client interface; conduct progress meetings and resolve project issues.
  • Coordinate testing, energization, commissioning, SCADA integration, and grid connectivity activities.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical, commercial, manpower, material, and execution-related issues.
  • Maintain project documentation (DPRs, WPRs, MOMs, inspection reports, test certificates, as-built drawings).
  • Lead and motivate project teams, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure effective cross-functional communication.

Responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, coordination, monitoring, and successful completion of solar park projects within the approved scope, budget, quality standards, and project schedule, while ensuring compliance with safety, statutory, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and deployment strategies for solar park implementation.
  • Site Development & Infrastructure: Oversee site preparation, land development, roads, drainage, fencing, foundations, internal electrical infrastructure, and other balance-of-plant activities.
  • Solar PV Installation: Monitor execution of module mounting structures, solar modules, inverters, transformers, HT/LT systems, DC/AC cabling, SCADA, and associated electrical works.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, stores, construction, electrical, civil, safety, quality, and O&M teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Contractor Management: Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and manpower; monitor productivity and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Material Management: Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability, inspection, transportation, and utilization of project materials.
  • Cost & Budget Control: Monitor project expenditure, manpower costs, material consumption, and contractor bills to ensure execution within the approved budget.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against planned targets and take corrective action for delays or deviations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, method statements, and inspection procedures.
  • Safety Management: Ensure strict implementation of HSE requirements, work permits, PPE, toolbox talks, safety inspections, and statutory safety procedures across the solar park.
  • Engineering Coordination: Review and coordinate approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, design changes, and site-related engineering issues.
  • Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate necessary approvals, inspections, permits, and compliance requirements with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
  • Client Coordination: Act as the primary project-level interface with the client, consultants, authorities, and other stakeholders; conduct regular progress meetings and resolve project issues.
  • Grid Connectivity & Commissioning: Coordinate testing, energization, synchronization, commissioning, SCADA integration, and grid connectivity activities.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical, commercial, manpower, material, and execution-related issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ensure proper maintenance of DPRs, WPRs, MOMs, inspection reports, test certificates, as-built drawings, measurement records, and project documentation.
  • Project Handover: Coordinate punch-point closure, final testing, documentation, performance verification, and successful handover of the completed solar park to the client/O&M team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure effective communication across all functions.
