Job summary

POTENTIAL PROJECT MANAGERS (P) LTD is seeking a planning engineer for Bangalore and PAN India locations with 6–8 years of experience in civil/interiors projects. You will review drawings, develop BOQ, forecast costs, and prepare tender documents, while monitoring budget changes and coordinating with contractors and clients.

The role requires familiarity with contract administration and cost estimation, with proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD a plus.

Qualifications

• Exposure to contract administration and local byelaws.
• Preferred MS Office usage and AutoCAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and develop BOQ for assigned projects.
• Price/forecast the cost of different materials needed.
• Assist QS contracts / prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Track changes to design and/or construction and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Procure or agree services of contractors and/or subcontractors.
• Measure and value work done on site.
• Liaise with client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
• Select and/or source construction materials.
• Prepare DPR/WPR/MPR and respective reports.
• Take quantities and resources deployment by contractor from DPRs and arrive at cost of items under dispute.
