Job summary

A technology solutions firm in New Delhi is seeking an experienced project manager to lead IT projects. You will be responsible for preparing project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring successful project delivery while guiding a team. Candidates should have a background in Computer Science/IT and relevant project management experience, with PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates with educational background in field of Computer Science / IT or any other specialization of engineering along with MBA/PGDM will be preferred.
• Should have relevant working experience as a project manager in IT sector.
• Should have strong technical background, with understanding in software development and web technologies.
• Should have good client-facing and interpersonal skills.
• Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Should have good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Should have good knowledge in MS office.
• Candidates must have PMP/ Prince 2 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Management Plan and Project Plan.
• Prepare the Effort estimation and finalize the Budget of the Project.
• Review the project in every stage of the Project life cycle.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members.
• Prepare and manage Project Plans, including timelines, key milestones, budgets and resource requirements.
• Identify, negotiate and manage resource requirements within delegated projects.
• Define and implement a project Quality Plan and Risk Plan.
• Manage projects ensuring key outcomes and contractual requirements are met.
• Manage the overall plan conjunction with Senior Managers.
• Effectively plan and manage projects in alignment with chosen Project Management Methodology.
• Travel internationally & domestically as per project requirement.

• Prepare and manage Project Plans, including timelines, key milestones, budgets and resource requirements, which ensure the successful delivery of the project.
• Identify, negotiate and manage resource requirements within delegated projects
• Define and implement a project Quality Plan and Risk Plan working with senior employees and subject matter experts.
• Manage projects and ensure that key outcomes, contractual requirements, and key deliverables are met.
• Manage the overall plan in conjunction with Senior Managers to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget.
• Effectively plan and manage projects in alignment with the chosen Project Management Methodology and the terms of contract.
• Travel international & domestic locations as per project requirement.
