Job summary

The Souled Store in Mumbai is seeking a Manager - Projects to lead end-to-end retail store development, from site evaluation through to launch. You will coordinate planning, design, and execution across multiple locations, ensuring brand consistency and quality.

You will partner with architects, designers, vendors and internal teams, manage budgets, timelines, and procurement, and drive large-format store rollout with strong execution standards. 4+ years in retail projects preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Retail Projects, Store Design, Interior Fit-outs, or Retail Expansion.
• Experience handling retail rollout projects and multiple store launches.
• Ability to read technical drawings, layouts, and BOQs.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.

Responsibilities

The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India's largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends.In addition to our core men's and women's apparel categories, we have expanded into new categories and introduced new product lines within existing ones, including activewear, personal care products such as perfumes, footwear, and backpacks.

Although we are primarily an online brand, we have also expanded into offline retail and currently operate 60+ stores, with further pan-India expansion underway. The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul.

Role Summary :

As the Manager - Projects, you will lead end-to-end retail store development, overseeing planning, design coordination, execution, quality control, and store launches. You will drive large-scale retail expansion projects while ensuring strong execution standards, timely delivery, budget control, and consistency in brand experience across all locations.

• Lead end-to-end retail projects, from site evaluation and planning to execution and store launch
• Ensure all stores are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand and operational standards
• Manage multiple store rollout projects simultaneously while maintaining execution excellence

Design, Planning & Execution

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and internal stakeholders to drive store design and concept execution
• Review layouts, BOQs, technical drawings, materials, and execution plans to ensure design accuracy and functionality
• Drive seamless on-ground execution with strong attention to quality, detailing, and customer experience
• Lead contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams across all project stages
• Build strong vendor partnerships and ensure accountability for timelines, workmanship, and quality standards
• Monitor project budgets, procurement timelines, resource planning, and execution progress

Qualiffications & Skills :

• 4+ years of experience in Retail Projects, Store Design, Interior Fit-outs, or Retail Expansion
• Strong experience in handling retail rollout projects
• Proven expertise in retail store planning, design coordination, and execution management
• Experience managing large-format retail projects and multiple store launches simultaneously
• Strong understanding of retail fixtures, materials, MEP coordination, and construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and BOQs
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management capabilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, project tracking tools, and project management systems
• Prior experience in fashion, lifestyle or large retail brands preferred
