Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Project Manager to own AI delivery engagements end to end, coordinating between the client and an internal delivery pod. You will convert client specs into clear work instructions and drive throughput while maintaining quality.

The role requires 1–4 years’ experience in project management, strong written English, and advanced Excel/Sheets skills. Exposure to SQL or Python is a plus, with a potential shift for US calls.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience in project/program management, delivery, or client-facing roles.
• Ownership of client relationships, not just task execution.
• Excellent written English for client communications.
• Proficiency with MS Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL, Python or BI tools is a plus.
• Calm under escalation with the ability to push back with reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own one or two client accounts end-to-end as single client contact and delivery pod lead.
• Translate client specs into actionable work instructions for contributors.
• Drive throughput: allocate daily work, set weekly targets, sample quality, escalate as needed.
• Conduct client engagements: weekly reviews, status reports, and issue closure.
• Build and defend performance dashboards and payout trackers in reviews.
• Manage contributor lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, verification coordination, policy adherence.
• Coach one or two junior associates as the pod grows.

Crossing Hurdles (Samvedh Grow Private Limited) is one of the world's largest suppliers of AI training talent. We build and run expert contributor teams for global AI labs and data companies, with 50,000+ candidates on our network and 1,000+ roles delivered.

We are hiring a Project Manager to own AI delivery engagements end to end: the client on one side, the delivery pod on the other, and the performance numbers in between.

Roles and responsibilities

1. Own one or two client accounts end to end as the single point of contact for the client and the reporting line for the delivery pod.
2. Review client project specifications and evaluation rubrics, resolve ambiguity with the client before work starts, and convert them into working instructions for contributors.
3. Drive throughput and quality: daily work allocation, weekly targets, quality sampling, and escalation management when either slips.
4. Run client engagement: recurring review calls, weekly status reports, escalations, and the open-items list through to closure.
5. Build and own performance dashboards and payout trackers, and defend the numbers in client and internal reviews.
6. Manage the contributor lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, background verification coordination, documentation and client policy enforcement.
7. Coach and review one or two junior associates as the pod scales.

Desired candidate profile

1. 1 to 4 years of experience in project management, program management, delivery, client servicing, consulting or business operations. AI training data, BPO, KPO, staffing or services background is an advantage.
2. Demonstrated ownership of a client relationship, not only task execution.
3. Excellent written English; client communication in this role is almost entirely written.
4. Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets. Exposure to SQL, Python or any BI tool is a plus.
5. Composure under escalation and the judgement to push back on a client with reasoning.
6. Preferred, not mandatory: willingness to work a split shift, approximately half the day in Indian business hours and a reserved evening or night block for US client calls and coordination. Candidates without this are fully considered; those with it are at a clear advantage and receive a shift allowance.
