Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work, Rural Development, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure activities stay within timeline and budget.
  • Coordinate with departments, stakeholders, and field teams.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and propose solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor implementation and support field teams.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
  • Create presentations for management reviews and donor meetings.
  • Maintain project data and MIS for reporting and audits.
  • Coordinate meetings and capture Minutes of Meeting (MoM).

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage NGO projects from planning to successful execution. The candidate should have prior experience working with an NGO and be capable of handling both office-based responsibilities and field operations. The role requires strong project management, team coordination, reporting, and communication skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and manage assigned projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure project activities are completed within the defined timeline and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, stakeholders, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track project progress and identify risks, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure project compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Field Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation.
  • Work closely with field staff, community members, and local stakeholders.
  • Verify project activities and ensure quality implementation at the ground level.
  • Provide guidance and support to field teams for effective execution.
  • Resolve field-level operational issues and submit visit reports.
Office Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Create and submit Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Project Reports.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain project data.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and project reviews.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare project status reports, progress reports, and MIS reports.
  • Develop presentations (PPTs) for management reviews, donor meetings, and project updates.
  • Prepare data analysis reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Team Coordination
  • Coordinate with project coordinators, field staff, trainers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor team performance and provide necessary guidance.
  • Ensure effective communication between field and head office teams.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, Project Management, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within an NGO or development sector.
  • Experience in handling multi-location or community-based projects is preferred.
  • Experience in field operations and stakeholder coordination.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong skills in MS Excel for data management, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ability to prepare professional PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs).
  • Good documentation and report-writing skills

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
