Job summary

Pinkishe Foundation is seeking seasoned Project Managers to lead initiatives from inception to delivery, ensuring on-time completion, within scope, and aligned with our mission. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with field teams, manage budgets, and report progress to stakeholders at multiple levels.

The role emphasizes project leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and strong monitoring & evaluation capabilities, with remote and field coordination as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management in NGO or development sector preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, and timely delivery within scope.
  • Coordinate with field teams to track milestones and budgets.
  • Engage with partners, educational institutes, and government officials.
  • Oversee resources and budgets with compliance to guidelines.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Provide team leadership, mentorship, and capacity building.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

About the Job

Pinkishe Foundation is in search of seasoned Project Managers to spearhead the project and ensuring the successful execution on time, within scope, and in alignment with the organization’s mission. The Project Manager will oversee all project activities, manage daily operations, report, and engage with stakeholders at various levels to ensure the successful delivery of impactful initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership and Execution:
    • Take ownership of project planning, development, and execution, establishing clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring all activities align with organizational goals.
    • Coordinate with field teams to track project milestones, monitor budgets, and ensure timely execution of project components.
  • Stakeholder and Partner Collaboration:
    • Engage with community partners, educational institutions, and local NGOs to build a network of support for project activities.
    • Foster productive relationships with government officials to facilitate smooth project operations, including navigating bureaucratic and regulatory processes.
  • Resource and Budget Management:
    • Oversee resource allocation for projects, optimizing budget use, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across all project-related activities.
    • Manage project budgets, expenses, and other resources, ensuring all financial activities are in compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement project monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess impact, identify challenges, and track key metrics.
    • Regularly analyze data and reports to drive improvements, share findings with stakeholders, and make informed decisions for future projects.
    • Prepare detailed reports on project outcomes, financial status, and impact assessments for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Supervision and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and support project staff, ensuring they have the guidance and resources necessary to succeed.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
  • Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Report on project risks and resolutions.
Who Can Apply

Candidates having:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in project management in the Development or Social sector.
  • Profound understanding of the Indian NGO landscape, with an understanding of project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Previous experience liaising with government departments and officials at all levels.
  • Expertise in monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and remotely.
  • Willingness to travel to the field, including rural and remote areas, as required.
