Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Project Manager for embedded software projects. You will define objectives, manage scope, schedule and quality, and lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to deliver features on time.

Ideal candidates have 10–13 years in embedded development and project management, strong communication, and hands-on experience with PMP processes, Planisware, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics or Electrical engineering.
• 10–13 years of embedded software development, testing and PM experience.
• Experience with multinational teams, especially with German teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and goals and manage scope, schedule, quality and risk.
• Create empowered scrum teams and mentor team members for career progression.
• Coordinate cross-functional requirements, feature delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain project plans, risk registers and effective scheduling using PM tools.
• Lead end-to-end PMP processes from planning to closure; resolve conflicts with stakeholders.
• Oversee can/can-fd J1939/UDS protocols work and debugging activities.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• As a Project Manager for project, you need to Define the project objective and goals
• Possess strong Project management skills in Scope, Time, Quality, Risk and stakeholder management
• Create Empowered scrum team
• Identify skill gaps of the team and drive necessary actions to improve the associate competency
• Mentor the team for their career progression
• Responsible for project associates Goal planning and annual assessment
• Know how of MPP tool usage for scheduling
• Responsible for Project plan updates, Risk register monitoring, Prime tool scheduling, Planisware demand End-to-End PMP process areas right from Planning till Closure of projects Conflict resolution, presentation skills, Good oratory skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop features, and deliver high-Possess strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Good presentation skills

Expected skill set:

• End to End knowledge of PMP process areas
• Strong project management and Test manager skills
• Experience in mentoring team and supporting the team for deliveries.Expertise in embedded engineering projects, including developing and unit tests.
• Familiarity of software development lifecycle methods including Agile
• Experience in handling projects at different geographical locationsExperience in handling team of people (Min 15-20 people)
• Good communication skills
• Effective Management skills and art of handling the customers
• Working experience on CAN/CAN(FD) based J1939 and UDS protocolsWork experience using debugging tools like JTAG based debuggers.
• Experience in Requirement management tools like ALM/Azure Devops
• Good to Have skills:Knowledge/ experience on Autosar
• Knowledge on Model based development (MBSE)Domain knowledge on Mobile machines or off-road vehicles and Hydraulics

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors/Master’s in Electronics/Electrical with 10-13 years of embedded software development, Testing and Project Management experience.
• Proven experience in working with multi-national teams, especially with German teams.
• Ability to work independently and drive the team as Project Manager.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
