Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited, headquartered in Bengaluru, seeks a proactive Project Manager with a Chemistry background to support R&D operations across metal-metallurgy, polymers, and advanced materials.

You will act as a bridge between the R&D team and business units, track timelines, manage procurement, and ensure compliance with safety standards while coordinating cross-functional activities at Pan India sites.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Chemistry; mandatory.
• 5+ years in R&D for metal-metallurgy (hydro/electro), polymers or materials science.
• Strong communication and cross-team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between R&D and business teams for project updates.
• Track progress, timelines and deliverables to keep tasks on schedule.
• Gather status updates on ongoing research activities and escalate delays.
• Coordinate material requirements, check availability and follow up on procurement.
• Maintain project documents, data sheets, reports and trackers in Excel.
• Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and align on goals.
• Visit Pan India R&D sites periodically to review progress and collect updates.
• Support R&D managers in planning, resource allocation, and execution of activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and safety standards in handling chemicals and lab activities.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager with a Chemistry background to support our R&D operations. The candidate will act as a bridge between the R&D team and the respective business units, ensuring smooth communication, timely project updates, and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry (mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience in an R&D for Metal-Metallurgy for Hydro and Electro ,Biologics, Material Science, Advance Material-EV/HPM/Battery/Recycle, Polymer
• Strong understanding of chemicals, laboratory workflows, and R&D processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (reports, tracking sheets, data management)
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel as and when required.
