Job summary

SBI Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a Deputy Manager PMO to drive end-to-end PMO governance, planning, tracking, and delivery oversight.

You will maintain centralized dashboards, oversee budgets and risks, and ensure compliance with RBI and internal InfoSec standards. The role requires 5–8 years of PMO/Agile delivery experience in fintech/payments, with proficiency in JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, and Excel reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT / Electronics / Engineering or equivalent.
• PMO/Prince2/CSM/SAFe Agilist certification (preferred).
• Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM) preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in Project Management / PMO / Agile Delivery; Fintech/payments domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end PMO governance including project planning, tracking, and delivery oversight.
• Maintain centralized project dashboards and provide MIS and executive summaries.
• Monitor project health across timelines, budgets, resources, and risks with RAG visibility.
• Manage RAID logs and proactively identify and mitigate critical risks and issues.
• Ensure RBI, audit, and internal InfoSec documentation standards.
• Track vendor deliverables and enforce SLA adherence with escalation management.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure sprint readiness and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog prioritization and sprint readiness.
• Remove impediments and drive continuous improvement through Agile practices.
• Act as liaison across business, technology, and external partners (SBI, Hitachi, OEMs).
• Drive stakeholder alignment and cross-functional coordination.
• Track metrics like velocity, burn-down, defects, and release readiness.
• Ensure governance processes including initiation, change management, and audit closures.

Experience

Domain Knowledge Competencies

• Strong Knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodology, Waterfall & Hybrid models and Payment’s ecosystem (POS, UPI, PG, Soundbox).
• Project planning tools expertise.
• Strong Excel & reporting skills
• Basic understanding of APIs & system integrations (preferred)

Position Objective

Responsibilities

As a PMO, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office in planning, organizing, and controlling project activities. You will assist in establishing project management processes, tools, and standards to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication.

• Drive end-to-end PMO governance including project planning, tracking, and delivery oversight.
• Maintain centralized project dashboards and provide leadership-level MIS and executive summaries.
• Monitor project health across timelines, budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring RAG status visibility.
• Manage RAID logs and proactively identify, escal[?] and mitigate critical risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, audit, and internal InfoSec documentation standards.
• Track vendor deliverables and enforce SLA adherence with effective escalation management.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure disciplined sprint execution and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog prioritization and ensure sprint readiness.
• Remove team impediments and drive continuous improvement through Agile best practices.
• Act as a key liaison across business, technology, and external partners (SBI, Hitachi, OEMs).
• Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure seamless cross-functional coordination.
• Track key metrics including sprint velocity, burn-down, defects, and release readiness.
• Ensure governance processes including project initiation, change management, and audit closures are effectively implemented.
• Oversee project documentation including charters, BRD/FRD sign-offs, and audit-ready repositories.
