Job summary

Integra seeks a Project Manager to oversee journal and book publishing projects from initiation to delivery. You will coordinate manuscript processing, editorial reviews, and final delivery to client platforms, including issue compilation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and online workflow tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage journal/book publishing projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Coordinate end-to-end journal and Books production, including manuscript processing, editorial reviewing, corrections, and final delivery to client platforms, including issue compilation.
  • Organize and attend meetings with publishers to discuss project requirements and progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authors, and editorial teams; manage communication to resolve queries and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track project schedules and ensure deadlines are met; monitor progress against SLAs and elevate issues to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
  • Oversee quality checks on proofs, layouts, and metadata to align with client and publishing standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and address any project-related queries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Job Description: Project Manager – Journals/Books

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to manage journal and book publishing projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in full service project management, with a strong focus on publishing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage journal/book publishing projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Coordinate end-to-end journal and Books production, including manuscript processing, editorial reviewing, corrections, and final delivery to client platforms, including issue compilation.
