Job summary

Aspect Global Ventures is seeking a Project Management Consultant (PMC) to plan, coordinate and control infrastructure initiatives from inception to handover in Mumbai. The role ensures delivery on time, within scope, budget and quality while meeting regulatory requirements.

The PMC will act as the main liaison between clients, contractors and internal teams, develop schedules, monitor progress, review bills, and manage risks across multiple projects. On-site Bandra location.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
• Masters in project management or construction management preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure projects and PMC roles is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary coordinator between clients, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to review construction activities and quality.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and certify contractor bills, BOQs, variations, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with government authorities and utility agencies as required.
• Prepare MIS reports and progress presentations for management and clients.
• Ensure timely completion of milestones and handover of projects.
• Manage claims, disputes and contractual obligations effectively.

The role involves ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, cost, and quality standards while complying with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary coordinator between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved plans, drawings, and specifications.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, urban infrastructure, etc).
• Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera).
• Sound understanding of contracts, tendering, billing, and cost control.
• Familiarity with statutory approvals and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Masters Degree in Project Management / Construction Management (Preferred)

Experience Required

• Minimum 68 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project management or PMC roles.
• Experience working with government bodies, developers, or EPC contractors will be an added advantage.
