Job summary

Duruper is seeking an experienced Project Lead to manage end-to-end software development projects in Chennai, India. You will lead engineering teams, drive timely delivery of scalable and secure software solutions, and ensure cross-functional collaboration across product, QA, and clients.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong project management skills, and deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies to coordinate execution and risk management.

Qualifications

• B.E./BTech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related.
• 5-7 years total software development experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership or project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of full-stack development technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, React, or Angular.
• Experience with database management, including MongoDB and InfluxDB.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum-based software delivery.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, progress tracking, and end-to-end delivery.
• Define sprint goals, project milestones, task allocation, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain coding and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with technical architects and product owners to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments, troubleshoot complex issues, and support performance optimization.
• Coordinate with product managers, QA teams, and clients to align project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify project risks, resolve technical bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, software quality, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across engineering and business teams.
