Job summary

Comviva Bengaluru is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee a team delivering Java and Spring Boot-based microservices. You will drive end-to-end software delivery, mentor engineers, and steer architectural decisions for scalable, reliable cloud-native systems.

You will coordinate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Operations to meet timelines and quality standards, tackling risks and ensuring production readiness with robust automation and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers working on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Own technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and key technology decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to align execution with business priorities.
• Identify, track, and proactively mitigate project risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
• Provide regular visibility into project progress, release readiness, resource requirements, and overall project health.
• Ensure engineering best practices through code reviews, technical governance, automation, and quality-driven development.
• Support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution while driving platform stability and reliability.
• Guide teams on performance optimization, scalability, security, and observability best practices.
