Job summary

Quikr is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to direct the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions. You will guide the engineering team, enforce best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align with business objectives.

You will mentor engineers, design robust architectures, and ensure secure, maintainable code while driving CI/CD, testing, and performance optimizations. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, IT, or related field.
• 610+ years of software development experience, with experience in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing scalable and highly available applications.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing scalable and highly available applications.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and provide effective technical leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps, observability, security, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
