Key requirements include 6–12 years of experience, expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture, and hands-on work with CI/CD pipelines. Bangalore-based, on-site role in India.

Qualifications

• Develop Android apps with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement Clean Architecture, MVVM and SOLID design.
• Write unit tests with JUnit/MockK; snapshot tests a plus.
• Experience with Android Studio debugging and profiling.
• Familiar with CI/CD and GitLab pipelines.
• Knowledge of accessibility and analytics is a plus.
• Work in an Agile Scrum team.

Technical Skills

• Significant experience developing Android apps.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and the drive to stay abreast of the latest features.
• A good understanding of architecture and design patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, SOLID principles, etc.
• An understanding of the native framework(s) for Android application development.
• Ability to write the Unit test cases using, for example, Junit, Mockk. Knowledge on writing screenshot/snapshot tests using paparazzi & android screenshot testing frameworks will be an added advantage.
• Ability to debug the code using the Android Studio debugging & profiling tools.
• Hands on experience using any Source Code Management Tools.
• A good understanding of CI/CD, ideally using GitLab, and how to build and maintain pipelines.
• Knowledge on Accessibility (W3C) and Analytics will be an added advantage.
• A product mindset and the desire to produce positive customer outcomes.
• A passion for delivering high-quality user experiences that offer intuitive journeys to achieve user goals.
• The confidence to discuss and promote your thoughts and ideas to people at all levels.
• Understanding and experience of working in a Scrum team utilising Agile best practices.
