The successful candidate will manage at least 20 projects annually with a cumulative capacity of 2 GW, handling all aspects from the RO stage to contract closure. Project Head - Wind Projects | One of the large conglomerate in renewable energy

As Head – Projects, the incumbent will lead all wind energy projects in South India. He will manage at least 20 projects annually, with a minimum cumulative capacity of 2 GW. He will have end-to-end responsibility, from RO stage to contract closure.

The role includes ensuring project cash flow and P&L management. He will be responsible for stakeholder management, including customers, vendors, statutory/government authorities, local communities, and employees. He will ensure that all functions are aligned, accountable, and deliver as per contractual commitments.

The incumbent will focus on team leadership and culture building, while implementing safety, quality, and environmental standards and policies to meet contractual obligations.

Vendor management will include ensuring payments are released only after the associated activities/milestones are accepted by the client and corresponding invoices are raised, while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The role involves leading a large, multi-level team with site and state project heads reporting in.

The position will report directly to the CEO.
