Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Study tender drawings, specifications, BOQs for facade works.
• Prepare detailed estimates for unitized and stick systems including skylights and glazing.
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural/façade drawings.
• Prepare rate analysis for aluminium, glass, hardware, sealants and installation.
• Review supplier/subcontractor quotations and make techno-commercial comparisons.
• Identify risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts, billing milestones, and profitability analysis.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, projects, planning, and finance teams.

Very Urgent opening for Project Estimator Appraisal & Estimation

Location: Mumbai / Pune

Experience: 5+ Years | Industry: Faade / Construction

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator with strong expertise in faade estimation, project appraisal, cost control, and commercial management. The candidate should have hands-on experience in unitized curtain walls and other faade systems, along with strong knowledge of BOQs, rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and project costing.

Key Responsibilities:

Study tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope documents for faade works.

Prepare detailed estimates for unitized, semi-unitized, stick systems, skylights, ACP, glazing, louvers, and special faades.

Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and faade drawings.

Prepare rate analysis for aluminium, glass, hardware, sealants, accessories, and installation.

Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and prepare techno-commercial comparisons.

Identify project risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.

Prepare post-award project appraisal, cost break-ups, budgets, and target rates.

Compare tender estimates, project appraisal, and execution budgets to identify margin gaps.

Monitor actual project costs against budgets and support variation pricing and claims.

Prepare cash-flow forecasts, billing milestones, and profitability analysis.

Coordinate with design, procurement, projects, planning, and finance teams.

Maintain historical cost data and prepare management reports on project margins and cost trends.

Qualification & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in faade estimation and commercial management.

Strong experience in unitized curtain wall systems is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of faade estimation tools/ERP systems is preferred.

Strong understanding of aluminium extrusion systems, glass specifications, faade testing norms, Indian faade contracting practices, and BOQ structures.
