Job summary

Meenakshi Associates Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to plan, schedule and track manufacturing projects, coordinating across production, procurement, quality and engineering teams.

You will translate plans into shop-floor actions, monitor progress, flag delays, and drive continuous improvements with Lean/Six Sigma ideas where applicable. You will maintain documentation, reports, and client updates, ensuring on-time delivery, budget alignment and adherence to quality

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks, timelines and milestones
• Develop and maintain schedules.
• Align production plans with project deadlines
• Track progress vs. plan and flag delays early
• Act as the central point between production, procurement, quality and engineering teams
• Ensure materials, manpower and machinery are available when needed
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Monitor availability of raw materials and components
• Work with procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Ensure project plans are translated into actionable shop-floor activities
• Track daily/weekly production progress
• Identify bottlenecks in manufacturing processes
• Support implementation of process improvements like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Ensure production adheres to quality standards and specifications
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and testing
• Maintain documentation required for audits and compliance
• Address non-conformance issues and track corrective actions
• Monitor project budgets and track actual vs. planned costs
• Identify cost overruns and suggest corrective measures
• Escalate critical issues to management with solutions, not just problems
• Maintain project documentation, schedules and reports
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and status updates
• Conduct review meetings and share progress with clients.
