Job summary

Talent Leads HR is seeking a Projects Engineer (Mechanical) to lead plant expansion and utility projects across PAN India. You will prepare drawings in AutoCAD, coordinate installation and commissioning, and liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on CAD skills and experience in plant utilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical fundamentals required.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with plant utilities (HVAC, boilers, piping) desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Execute plant expansion, infrastructure, and CAPEX projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents using AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate installation, erection, and commissioning of plant equipment and utilities.
  • Manage utility-related projects involving compressors, chillers, HVAC systems, boilers, piping, water systems, and other plant facilities.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure timely closure of project activities.
  • Conduct site surveys, measurements, and feasibility assessments for new projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements during project execution.
  • Support troubleshooting and modification activities related to plant utilities and mechanical systems.
  • Review technical specifications, BOQs, and vendor quotations.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
Preferred Background:

Candidates from manufacturing industries such as plastics, packaging, pipes, FMCG, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering, or industrial plants with exposure to project execution and utility management.
