Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of relevant Mechanical Site Execution experience.
• Experience in STP/ETP/WTP/CETP or wastewater projects preferred.
• Hands-on installation, piping, and commissioning of plant equipment.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and execute mechanical installation and site activities for STP/ETP projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day mechanical works with the Project Manager, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, QA/QC and Planning teams.
• Handle installation and erection of STP/ETP equipment, including pumps, blowers, agitators/mixers, screens, scrapers, clarifiers, filter systems, dosing systems, sludge handling equipment, air compressors, valves and piping.
• Supervise equipment erection, alignment, leveling and installation as per approved drawings and manufacturer recommendations.
• Coordinate with the Civil team for equipment foundations, anchor bolts, sleeves, embedded plates and openings.
• Execute and monitor mechanical piping works, including process piping, air piping, sludge piping and associated connections.
• Review mechanical drawings, GA drawings, equipment layouts, P&IDs and piping drawings.
• Ensure proper installation of equipment, piping, valves and supports as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for equipment installation and commissioning.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for mechanical execution.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC for WIR, inspection checklists and quality documentation.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager/Engineering team for technical resolutions.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and coordinate with the Planning Engineer.
• Coordinate with Electrical and Instrumentation teams for equipment connectivity and commissioning requirements.
• Support testing, trial runs and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ensure proper completion of punch points and support project handover.
• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and work permits.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-10 years of relevant Mechanical Site Execution experience.
• Experience in STP / ETP / WTP / CETP / wastewater-treatment projects preferred.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical erection, equipment installation, piping and commissioning.
• Experience with pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, screens, valves and related treatment-plant equipment.
• EPC / Turnkey project experience is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
• Client / consultant / PMC coordination experience will be an advantage.
