Job summary

Vaibhav Inter Decor based in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a technical adviser to oversee subcontractors and facilitate client interactions on site. The role involves monitoring subcontractor performance, keeping the project on schedule, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Ideal candidates will manage daily responsibilities and engage actively with clients, providing updates and answering queries. The position requires effective planning and communication skills to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the (Asst) project manager on the daily to do list and its progress.
• Client handling: In the absence of PM, briefly describe about the project to client.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a site for subcontractors.
• Continually monitor subcontractors’ performance and ensure maximum output.
• Maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment.
• Execute snag list works within the specified time limit.
• Plan work and efficiently organize site facilities to meet deadlines.

Job description

JOB DISCRIPTION: -

• Reporting to the (Asst) project manager on the daily to do list and its progress
• Client handling: In the absence of PM, briefly describe about the project to client when they visit and answer to clients queries. To take necessary documents, related files, drawings, technical questions / clarifications and samples during meetings or site visits.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a site for subcontractors and Purchase Team for material deliveries.
• Sub-contractor handling: continually monitor subcontractors’ performance and make them understand company policy and operating procedure. Ensure maximum output from them. To monitor that the sub-contractors use the latest technologies to get good and quality finishing.
• To seek for information from the project manager, well in advance, to avoid the operational idleness on the project site.
• Maintaining work environment: By following and enforcing standard procedures and regulations, should keep the work environment secure, safe and healthy.
• To monitor & execute the snag list works within the specified time limit, before the project handover.
• To intimate the manager projects well in advance, in case additional labour force requirement arises during project completion.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• To keep the clients’ materials, separate after dismantling at the project site and hand over the same before the project commencement.
