Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical projects from conception through completion, ensuring scope, schedule and budget alignment. You will coordinate with site engineers, contractors and authorities to deliver compliant, high-quality installations.

The role requires a graduation in Electrical Engineering and 6–8 years in electrical construction, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree is required.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in electrical construction/installation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from conceptualization to completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Oversee on-site electrical installations, testing, commissioning and handover to client.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure designs and installations adhere to local, national, and international electrical codes and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to meet quality standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design.

Job Description

Manage electrical projects from conceptualization to completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee on-site electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities and handing over to client [ LT Panels, MV Panel, Transformers, Earthing system & LPS etc.]
• Coordinate effectively with Site engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
• Ensure all designs and installations strictly adhere to relevant local, national (e.g., NEC/BECOM, CEIG norms etc.), and international electrical codes, safety standards, and quality specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to meet standard Quality of work at site.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality electrical projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software (AutoCAD).
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety standard at site.
• Performing site audits and ensuring proper usage of PPE.

Qualifications

Graduation in Electrical Engineering.

6 to 8 years of experience in Electrical Construction Industry.
