Job summary

Turner & Townsend in India is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Contracts professional to lead coordination between design teams, site management and contracting activities for large-scale MEP packages. The role emphasizes contract administration, billing accuracy and timely payments, with SAP-based processes guiding contract lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate should have 12–15 years in contract and billing, a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, and strong coordination skills across

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 12–15 years of experience in contract and billing.
• Experience with MEP packages and coordination.
• Exposure to SAP-based contract management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with external Design Consultants on MEP design and specs.
• Coordinate between in-house Architectural Team and external Consultants.
• Coordinate with Site PMCs for MEP execution at site.
• Collect feedback from Site Team on progress and requirements.
• Float MEP tenders to vendors/contractors under Regional Contracts Head guidance.
• Review quotations, prepare comparative statements, and suggest value engineering.
• Upload MEP contracts in SAP system.
• Verify MEP bills and prepare payment certificates per contracts.
• Track MEP orders and bills and post to accounts for payment.
• Perform rate analysis of items as needed.
• Assist in tracking budget provisions for MEP packages.
• Maintain and update status of materials/equipment critical to progress.
• Evaluate variation/change orders and provide recommendations.
• Provide data to Contracts Head for contractual letters as required.

Job Description

Scope of Works :

• Coordinating with external Design Consultants regarding design and specification finalization of any MEP Package
• Coordinating in between in-house Architectural Team and external Design Consultants
• Coordinating with Project Management Consultants posted at Site in relation to execution of MEP Packages at Site
• Taking relevant feedback from Site Team relating to Progress of Works and requirement
• Floating Tender of MEP packages to vendors/contractors under the guidance of Regional Contracts Head
• Take part in evaluating quotations of contractors/vendors, preparation of comparative statement and suggesting for value engineering
• Uploading MEP contracts in internal SAP system
• Checking the MEP related bills as per Contractual provision and prepare payment certificates as per terms of contracts
• Tracking of MEP Orders and Bills (received from Site and posted to accounts for payment)
• Rate analysis of items whenever required
• Assisting in tracking the Budgetary provision of MEP Packages
• Regularly maintain, monitor and update status of materials and equipment critical for Project progress
• Evaluate of variation orders / change orders and provide recommendations
• Providing data to Contracts Head for issuance of Contractual Letter to contractors/vendors wherever required and applicable
• All other Contracts-Related works to be performed as and when required

Qualifications

Qualification : B.E/Btech (Electrical Engineering)

Experience : At least 12 to 15 years in contract and billing
