Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer-EES to plan, coordinate, and support engineering projects from initiation through completion on-site at customer locations in Pune. You will review drawings, manage budgets, track progress, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or HVAC

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• ITI/NCTVT in HVAC with hands-on project execution experience of 7–8 years.
• Experience in project engineering, coordination, or technical delivery.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.
• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Track progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation and project updates.
• Assist with design reviews, testing, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety policies, and quality requirements.
• Identify issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• Supervise and control on-site activities daily.
• Coordinate with Customer Engineering Team/PMC/HVAC or MEP consultants and contractors.

Job Description-Project Engineer-EES A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.
• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Track project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Assist with design reviews, testing, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety policies, and quality requirements.
• Identify project issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• To supervise and control ON SITE activities on daily basis.
• Co ordination with Customer Engineering Team/PMC/HVAC or MEP consultant/Suppliers and Contractors.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• ITI / NCTVT in HVAC with minimum 7-8 years hands on experience in project execution.
• Experience in project engineering, project coordination, or technical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management practices, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering certification or project management certification.
• Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD/REVIT MEP
