Job summary

Trane Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a Project Engineer-EES to plan, coordinate, and support engineering projects from initiation through completion on-site. You will work with engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors; review requirements; track progress and budgets; prepare documentation; and assist with design reviews, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• ITI/NCTVT in HVAC with 7–8 years hands-on experience in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.
• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Track project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Assist with design reviews, testing, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety policies, and quality requirements.
• Identify project issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• To supervise and control ON SITE activities on daily basis.
• Coordination with Customer Engineering Team/PMC/HVAC or MEP consultant/Suppliers and Contractors.

Job Description-Project Engineer-EES

A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and contractors.
• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Track project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Assist with design reviews, testing, commissioning, and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety policies, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• ITI / NCTVT in HVAC with minimum 7-8 years hands on experience in project execution.
• Experience in project engineering, project coordination, or technical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management practices and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering certification or project management certification.
• Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD/REVIT MEP
